This workshop will introduce basic meditation techniques including sitting and walking meditation and the usage of prayer beads (malas) with a focus on proper alignment, breathing, focused attention, and an open attitude toward distractions. Additionally, students will be introduced to fundamental mindful eating practices. This class is designed for beginners and for those looking to refresh their practice.
