The Buddhist Faith Fellowship is celebrating its platinum year in living and sharing the Buddhist teachings in Connecticut and beyond.
We were established in 2001 by our founding teacher, Daishin Senpai Sensei, just around the corner from ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut. Thereafter, with a brief stint in West Hartford, the fellowship had centered its activities in Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. Subsequently, on account of the current global Covid-19 health crisis, we have shifted all of our programs online for the foreseeable future, which has brought many new attendees from across the United States and from abroad.
We wish to thank our dedicated supporting members and our loyal long-time practitioners, for their devotion to deep practice; we could never have realized 20 years of community-building and spiritual success without them. In addition, we are deeply grateful to the many current and past institutional supporters such as Wesleyan University and the Jodo Shinshu Center for their material and spiritual assistance. We especially recognize the steadfast and compassionate commitment and of our esteemed teacher, Daishin Senpai Sensei, for which our community could not exists.
In 2021, we hope you can be part of our community and attend our online Practice and Talk Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month or participate in our one-of-a-kind Stoa Buddhist Philosophy Group that gathers on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. See our website schedule for dates, times and Zoom links.
