The Buddhist Faith Fellowship in Middletown, Connecticut offers a variety of community practice and socio-cultural events and programs to help members and the interested public to learn about, practice, and experience Buddhism in everyday life.  Our goal in these events is to make the experience feel “real” and “meaningful” for people rather than being solely confined to a potentially sterile intellectual approach.

In addition, meditative events provide clear guidance and a supportive and nurturing space to successfully practice mindfulness and meditation in a group setting helping people deepen their spiritual self exploration. These events are not just in what seen as the traditional format of “sitting on cushion” but involve attentive and meditative cultivation (bhavana) in mundance activities such as hiking in the woods, biking on a trail, watching the birds or even eating lunch.

Our past and present Connecticut events include:

Meditation and Talk Sundays (in Middletown)

Mindful Bike Rides

Cultural and Spiritual Field Trips
