Was Buddha the 1st Therapist? How can Buddhist beliefs and practice help alleviate our suffering? In this workshop we will discuss how Buddhism can help us better understand the suffering we experience and can help to guide us through it gracefully. We will review some basic concepts of Buddhist Psychology as well a Buddhist Addiction Recovery. This workshop will be helpful to both people seeking help, clinicians providing therapy, and those who are simply interested in this fascinating topic.
