Come along for a spiritual, social, and cultural field trip to the2nd Annual Tibetan Cultural Festival & Animal Blessing in Redding, CT on Saturday, September 6, 2025, starting at 10:30 a.m. You don’t have to be a Buddhist or even a member of our Fellowship to participate. This is a free of charge event. No need to RSVP; just show up.

Animal blessing ceremony (including a talk by Susan Carr ofthe Tibetan Terrier Club)

Itinerary
a. You may drive to the Do Ngak Kunphen Ling (DNKL) on your own or you can car pool or follow in a caravan. If you wish to car pool or just travel along in a caravan, please meet us at the Park and Ride Southington Location – I-84 @Route 10 (Exit 28). Look for the organizer(s) in a silver Honda CR-V, one of them will be displaying bright Tibetan prayer flags around the neck to help you find the group. We will be departing promptly at 9:15 a.m., so please arrive a few minutes early to ensure a timely departure.
b. It takes 1:15 hours. from Hartford/Middletown to arrive at the event in Redding, and 46 minutes from the Park & Drive location. The address is: Do Ngak Kunphen Ling (DNKL), 30 Putnam Park Rd, Redding, CT 06896.
c. Arriving at the DNKL before 10:30 a.m. We can meet at the festival entrance, we’ll wait for no more than 10:35ish a.m (So, arrive early). One of the organizers will have brightly colored Tibetan prayer flags around his neck Of course, from this point, participants are free to stay with the group or come and go as the please.
