Buddhism 1.0 Class

Buddhism 1.0 Course: Basics Practices & Teachings will meet for the first time today. It meets 3 times over a 3 1/2 month period. It will offer a comprehensive guide for living the Buddhist teachings that allows practitioners to flourish with happiness and well-being. Open to beginners and veteran practitioners who are looking for a refresher course.

The registration deadline was early April 2017. Thus, registration is closed.

Students will learn how to practice mindfulness (sati) whether they are working, eating, parenting, driving, walking, or simply sitting and breathing, with the aim to fully enjoy life’s gifts and to better cope with life’s challenges wherever they are. Furthermore, students will explore in a clear and concrete way the fundamentals of the Buddha’s core teachings, the Four Noble Truths, and its methods to live a a happier life through reflection and meditation.
