Achieving Happiness Class

Achieving Happiness will meet 3 times over a 3-month period.  The course is divided into three classes based on Buddhist philosophy and practices: The foundations of happiness, the Perfections (paramis), and their practice. Open to beginners and veteran practitioners who are looking for a refresher course. Limited enrollment.

The 10 Perfections, the qualities of mind (virtues) that cultivate happiness, wisdom, and compassion, serve as the Buddha’s alternative path to his well-known Noble Eightfold Path. The course will look into the subtleties of each perfections and offer helpful exercises, real-life examples, and instructions for an independent self-retreat for their practical application.
