This talk will explore 4 Buddhist techniques to work with anger. It will look into how mindfulness practice can cool the heat of antagonism and resentment. Based on a Shambhala Sun magazine article written by dharma teacher, Judy Lief, the talk will introduce 4 techniques on how to transform the powerful energy of anger into wisdom. Ms. Lief writes, “Where does anger arise? It is in the mind. So by taming the mind we can establish a strong base for understanding how anger arises in us and how we habitually respond to it.” For those who suffer from anger and resentment, this talk will offer you the tools to find relief and healing from this affliction.
Presented by Dharma Teacher Rev. Senpai Lewis-Bastías.
