Meditation Made Easy is designed especially for beginners as well as anyone wishing to refresh or strengthen an existing meditation practice. In a supportive and relaxed setting, participants learn foundational mindfulness practices that help calm the mind, cultivate clarity, and bring greater ease into everyday living.
Meditation does not have to be complicated or mysterious. With clear guidance and gentle step-by-step instruction, this course shows how meditation can become a natural and enjoyable part of life.
Led by Dharma Teacher G.R. Lewis, who brings more than three decades of meditation and mindfulness teaching experience, the course introduces several core practices including quiet sitting meditation, conscious breathing, voice meditation, and practical ways to bring mindful awareness into ordinary activities such as walking, listening, and communication. The course also includes short weekly readings from Happiness by Thích Nhat Hanh, offering simple reflections that deepen the practice.
Over five sessions, participants will learn how meditation helps:
- Calm a busy or restless mind
- Develop focus and clarity
- Reduce stress and emotional reactivity
- Cultivate compassion and resilience
- Bring greater presence into everyday life
Each class includes guided meditation, clear instruction, and time for reflection and questions.
