Mindful Hike: Hubbard Park

Integrate the dharma with the natural world

Buddha Gaia is our informal outdoor and open-air travel Meetup group dedicated to helping people of all ages explore and appreciate the natural world through the Buddhist teachings of mindfulness, loving-kindness  (metta), interconnectedness, and impermanence. to learn more about our unique group, visit us at http://bffct.org/bff/buddha-gaia/

We will be taking a mindful walk through the woods of Hubbard Park located in Meriden starting at 10 am.  The hike is moderate.  We will begin with a 30 minute meditation at the pond, close to the park entrance.  From there we’ll practice noble silence en route to the overlook (about an hour).  Then we’ll have lunch and discuss our experience.  We will return via loop back.So come and join us for an extraordinary day integrating the natural world with dharma.

Free of charge.
