The first segment of the Sunday morning practice focuses on a couple of standard and short Buddhist rituals like going for refuge and a reciting a responsive reading; the second segment stresses meditation practices, which include voice and sitting meditation plus sutra (scriptural) chanting; the third portion of the Practice & Talk meeting is devoted to an intellectual engagement with the teachings. During this segment, there is no lecturing or sermonizing; participation is important but not required. The talk can be a discussion of a reading, a formal talk but it is always includes discussion and Q & A. The session becomes a learning experience for everyone including the teacher.

To join the online Practice & Talk Meeting visit our main web site or click on the link below.

https://zoom.us/j/311788946
Meeting ID: 311 788 946
Password: 919371

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you give yourself time to sign-in before the 9 a.m. meeting.

Camera Shy? If you are, you can simply keep your computer camera off while in Zoom.
