River of Fire was the inspirational book that motivated our teacher Senpai Lewis-Bast\u00edas, who was a student of Unno, to establish the Buddhist Faith Fellowship in 2001.<\/p>\n<p>These Drop-in Classes have been designed to be complimentary with each other. One class teaches the core Buddhist teachings while the other presents an insightful and inspirational look on how to live the teachings (dharma) in hectic 21<sup>st<\/sup> century life. If you have been studying Buddhism for a while, these Drop-ins will give you a systematic refresher course on the dharma and will be well worth of your time and effort.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about these Drop-in Classes, please peruse their web pages and feel free to join us.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Unique Meditation Space<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Drop-in Classes\u2019 meditation space is unmatched in Connecticut. You might have to go to Japan to experience a similar traditional atmosphere.
