These exceptional women and mothers include the mother of the Buddha, Maha Maya, the aunt who raised the Buddha as a child, Prajapati, his wife, Yasodhara and Shinran\u2019s wife, Eshinni,\u00a0 and his daughter Kashushini\u00a0 among others.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees are welcomed to <em>bring a photograph of their mothers<\/em> to be placed on the altar for a special prayer and blessing.\u00a0 The Practice will conclude with a special volunteer sharing of gratitude for our mothers and grandmothers.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, attendees are welcomed to bring their mothers and grandmothers to the Sunday morning practice.<\/p>\n<p>All are welcomed.
