What is <em>shunyata<\/em>? It is the open, living, boundless and interconnected dimension of our being. <em>Shunyata<\/em> means that we have an endowed seed of spaciousness, renewal, openness and relaxation with in us.<\/p>\n<p>At first glance, the teaching of <em>shunyata<\/em>, emptiness in English, seems fascinating yet quite abstract. Many practitioners find it challenging to apply it in their daily lives. This talk will look into how to apply this fundamental teaching with the goal of honoring life\u2019s blessings and challenges, lightening up our attitude, opening up our hearts, and becoming more joyful.<\/p>\n<p>We are reminded by Zen Master Dogen\u2019s words, \u201cDon\u2019t take the eyes lightly, don\u2019t give them weight. Don\u2019t give weight to the ears, and don\u2019t take them lightly. Make your eyes and ears clear and sharp.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Presented by Dharma Teacher Rev.
