Surrounded by towering trees and open sky, this gathering offers a rare chance to pause, breathe, and reconnect\u2014with nature, yourself, and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not a religious event. <strong>Meditation on the Green<\/strong> focuses on mindfulness and meditation as a universal human practice. It is <strong>non-sectarian and open to everyone<\/strong>, regardless of background or belief system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No experience is necessary. All are welcome<\/strong>.<br>Please bring a meditation cushion, zafu, or folding chair for your comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the sit, you&#8217;re invited to stay for light socializing, Q&amp;A, and mindful conversation with fellow participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Look for Tibetan prayer flags <\/strong>\u2014that\u2019s your host, <strong>G.R. Lewis<\/strong>, a trained mindfulness and Buddhist teacher. He will be available to offer mindfulness suggestions and answer questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a\u00a0<strong>free event<\/strong>, but a\u00a0<strong>suggested donation of $10<\/strong>\u00a0is greatly appreciated to help support our programs.
