Daishin Senpai, M.A.&nbsp; Our Online Practice &amp; Talk meetings are enriching occasions to personally engage the Dharma (Buddhism) in a an innovative, gentle, and meaningful way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our in-person meetings at Wesleyan University include meditation, sacred chants, incense offering, Q &amp; A, and so much more. Open to the general public, beginners, and veteran practitioners alike.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week, we will be exploring the Rev. (Dr.) Taitetsu Unno\u2019s modern classic, \u201c<strong>River of Fire, River of Water<\/strong>\u201d.&nbsp; Visit our Meetup or Facebook groups to learn about the chapter to be discussed; the chapter will be named in the title of the event\u2019s announcement. &nbsp;Also, you can click on our Connect tab, to sign-up for our newsletter.&nbsp;<strong> Remember<\/strong>, you don\u2019t need to read anything to attend and enjoy the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND<\/strong> that you give yourself time to sign-in online or arrive in-person before the 9 a.m. meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our Location<\/strong>: Our location is unparalleled in Connecticut which includes an authentic Zen garden and tatami room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parking<\/strong>: Limited parking on Washington Terrace but there is plenty on Mt. Vernon Street which is the side street, next to the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Meeting Rules<\/strong>: Practice kind speech, be courteous, and abstain from talking about current politics or display or wear political or offensive symbols or imagery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Suggested Donation<\/strong>: $10 -$15 (cash or check) to help cover costs for our Wesleyan expenses, internet services, our extensive outreach efforts, Meetup, and standard operating costs.
